I. Ultrasonic cleansing mode (ultrasonic)

This technique provides a cleansing effect based on high-frequency sound vibrations. Ultrasonic waves emitted by the metal spatula apply alternating acoustic pressure to the liquid medium applied to the skin, generating microstreams that weaken the bonds between dead keratinized cells on the skin’s surface, ensuring their gentle removal. At 30,000 vibrations per second, the device works together with water or a cleansing product to effectively “wash out” impurities from the pores. At the same time, the skin is not damaged, stretched, or deformed. Ultrasonic peeling is the most superficial and atraumatic type of facial cleansing.

The procedure allows for pore cleansing, removal of comedones and keratinized particles without damaging the skin, while improving facial tone and texture and neutralizing excess sebum production. Ultrasonic cleansing does not traumatize the skin and requires no recovery period. The device is equipped with a built-in blue LED lamp (penetration depth 0.5–1 mm), which provides targeted action on the skin during the procedure. II. Ionic cleansing mode (intermittent ultrasonic minus)

Dr. Fresco the Zeus is equipped with a mode of intermittent ultrasonic waves (intermittent iontophoresis, negative charge).

Before performing the main stage of ultrasonic cleansing, it is recommended to cleanse the skin surface and open the pores for subsequent steps. A super-wave vibration is generated simultaneously with the action of negatively charged ions. For this preparatory cleansing stage, a special ionic lotion with negative ions is required, in particular the Artistic&Co. product Aqua Healing Mist. Intermittent iontophoresis with a negative charge effectively removes surface impurities (dust, dead cells, environmental pollutants) and prepares the pores for deeper cleansing steps.

Effects of negatively charged ion exposure:
— Increases the activity of sebaceous and sweat glands;
— Opens the pores;
— Enhances vascular permeability;
— Loosens the stratum corneum;
— Improves cellular metabolism.

III. Final cleansing / product infusion mode (intermittent ultrasonic plus)

Japanese developers of Dr. Fresco the Zeus added an additional cleansing stage — intermittent ultrasonic waves with a positive charge (intermittent iontophoresis, positive charge). To activate this mode, press the power button three times. This mode is used in two cases:

1. As the final stage of the three-step cleansing. The procedure is performed with a cotton pad moistened with water (as in Mode II).

When used as the final cleansing stage, the procedure is considered the most complete. It removes the maximum amount of various impurities, while guiding the skin through the optimal sequence of actions for the best result.

2. As the infusion stage after cleansing and peeling. During this procedure, the device is held flat side of the spatula against the skin, moving along massage lines. This exposure restores pore diameter, stimulates metabolic processes, and delivers active cosmetic ingredients deep into living skin cells, activating redox processes. The procedure is recommended to be performed over sheet masks.

For this cleansing method, in addition to Dr. Fresco the Zeus, you will need a negatively charged toner or lotion (for the “minus” ion cleansing mode) and water (for ultrasonic cleansing and “plus” ion cleansing). For the massage and infusion of cosmetic products, use products enriched with vitamins, amino acids, and collagen—such as serums, mesoconcentrates, sheet or gel masks—best suited to your skin type, preferably with negatively charged ions. Before starting, make sure the device’s battery is fully charged.

Steps:

1. Cleansing mode

Before using the ultrasonic device by Artistic&Co., carefully cleanse your face and remove any makeup residues. If you have Aqua Healing Mist lotion or any other negatively charged ion solution, it is recommended to start with the Ion Cleansing “Minus” mode — press the power button twice. This mode is accompanied by an intermittent sound signal.

If no lotion is available, start the treatment in Ultrasonic Cleansing mode and keep the treated skin surface moistened with water. This mode is activated by pressing the power button once. Complete the deep cleansing treatment in Ion Cleansing “Plus” mode, performed with water. This mode is activated by pressing the power button three times. Apply the cosmetic product or water to the treated skin surface.

Switch on the required mode and position the device’s metal spatula curved side upward at a 40–45° angle to the skin. Slowly glide the spatula from the periphery toward the center of the face. The skin must remain moist all the time during the treatment. Wipe the metal spatula with a cotton pad as needed to remove impurities and excess fluid.

Each procedure takes 5 minutes, after which the device turns off automatically. Restart the device to proceed to the next stageу.

2. Infusion mode

The infusion mode is performed as the final step, after completing all cleansing stages. Apply a cosmetic product with active ingredients or a sheet mask. Under ultrasonic influence, their effectiveness is significantly enhanced.

Flip the spatula 180°, press the power button twice (accompanied by an intermittent signal), and slowly move the spatula along the facial massage lines.
